Roland's birthday is June 30th and Laura wanted to do something for him. We all chipped in and got him a TIVO for his birthday and decided to celebrate with dim-sum at Tsing Tao in Oakland. It was very cool doing stuff with people from Taekwondo off of the mat. I could not make it to the movie afterwards as I had to go to Hankido. Laura goofed around with a ring she found by proposing to Roland. From the smile, Roland is either shell-shocked or it was a resounding "Yes!" (resounding for Roland as he is a quiet kind of guy).
