Bow (Kyung-Nyeh)
Ready Position (Right fist cupped by left hand at or about chin-level)
1. Move forward, double knifehand guarding blocks in right back stance
2. Move forward, right middle punch in right front stance
3. Pivot on right foot 90 degrees counterclockwise (face W), simultaneously
left low forearm block and right rising block in right back stance
4. Pivot on right foot 90 degrees counterclockwise (face S), double
knifehand guarding blocks in right back stance
5. Remain in stance, right middle reverse punch
6. Shift balance onto left foot, hop forward, on landing left spearhand
thrust to solar plexus in crane stance (left instep against and behind
the right knee) (chest facing S). Yell! (Ki-Hap)
7. Pivot on ball of right foot, left side kick, drop left foot, X-rising
block (close-fisted) (rising motion ends above head) in right back stance
8. Remain in stance, open the hands and pivot at the wrists (this is
an arm grab and lock--you capture an opponent's attacking arm and pull
it into you as you twist it)
9. Move forward, right middle punch in right front stance
10. Pivot on right foot 90 degrees counterclockwise (face E), simultaneously
left low forearm block and right rising block in right back stance
11. Pivot on right foot 90 degrees counterclockwise (face N), double
knifehand guarding blocks in right back stance
12. Remain in stance, right middle reverse punch
13. Shift balance onto left foot, hop forward, on landing right spearhand
thrust to solar plexus in crane stance (chest facing N) (as above). Yell!
(Ki-Hap)
14. Chamber the left foot, left side kick toward W
15. Drop left foot, X-rising block (as above) in right back stance
16. Move forward, right middle punch in right front stance
17. Pivot on right foot 90 degrees counterclockwise (face S), simultaneously
left low forearm block and right rising block in right back stance
18. Pull left foot to right foot, pivoting 90* CCW and bring feet together
(chest faces E). As you do this, cross the arms in front of your body,
then chamber both fists to each one's side (acts as elbow strikes to an
attacker behind you)
19. Move forward, left front kick, drop left foot and immediately jump
off of it, rotate 180 degrees counterclockwise and in mid-air perform right
jumping side kick
20. On landing, X-rising block (as above) then open the hands and pivot
them at the wrists (as above) in left back stance
21. Move forward, left middle punch in left front stance
22. Pivot on right? foot 270 degrees counterclockwise? (face N), simultaneously
right low forearm block and left rising block in left back stance
23. Pull right foot to left foot, pivoting 90* CCW and bring feet together
(chest faces W) raising both fists above head, then chamber both fists
to each one's side (as above)
24. Move forward, right front kick, drop right foot and immediately
jump off of it, rotate 180 degrees counterclockwise? and in mid-air perform
left jumping roundhouse kick
20. On landing, X-rising block (as above) [[[ then open the hands and
pivot them at the wrists (as above) ?]]] in right back stance
Pull left foot to meet the right
Return to Ready Position (Bah-Roh)
