Ready Position (Joon-Bee)

Raise both arms up the body and above the head into double forearm rising blocks. Slowly & exhaling

1. Turn 90 degrees counterclockwise (face W), left inward forearm block (bringing the right hand, palm open, to the left wrist) in right back stance
2. Remain in stance, left outward knifehand block (done by opening the left hand and rotating it clockwise) (right hand open hand stays on the left wrist, blocking)
3. Shift left foot, right spearhand attack (can be directed to either the solar-plexus with the hand upright; or can be parallel to the ground with palm facing downward) in left front stance
4. Remain in stance, left middle punch followed by right middle reverse punch
5. Lift right leg high into air, move forward with right inside crescent kick, santeul makki ("W" block), stomp into horse stance (chest faces S)
6. Cross left foot behind right foot in the direction of W, chamber right fist to hip, and step out (toward W) with right foot into right side punch in horse stance (chest faces S)
7. Pivot on left foot 180 degrees counterclockwise (face E), twin elbow strikes (parallel to ground), right foot is leading in horse stance (chest faces N)
8. Pull left foot to right foot, then step out with right foot toward E, right inward forearm block (bringing the left hand, palm open, to the right wrist, blocking) in left back stance
9. Remain in stance, right outward knifehand block (as above)
10. Shift right foot, left spearhand strike (as above) in rightt front stance
11. Remain in stance, right middle punch followed by left middle reverse punch
12. Lift left leg high into air, move forward with left inside crescent kick, santeul makki ("W" block), stomp into horse stance (chest faces S)
13. Cross right foot behind left foot in the direction of E, chamber left fist to hip, and step out (toward E) with left foot into left side punch in horse stance (chest faces S)
14. Pivot on right foot 180 degrees clockwise (face W), twin elbow strikes (as above), left foot is leading in horse stance (chest faces N)
15. Pivot 90 degrees clockwise on the ball of the left foot, and into right inward forearm block (as above) in left back stance
16. Remain in stance, right outward knifehand block (as above)
17. Shift right foot, left spearhand strike (as above) in right front stance
18. Remain in stance, right middle punch followed by left middle reverse punch
19. Move forward, twin downward knifehand blocks in right back stance
20. Move forward, twin pushing blocks (both arms push out from the body and straighten at head level) (This is the same block as follows the "Ready position") in right front stance
21. Pivot on the left foot 90 degrees counterclockwise, step out with right foot middle knifehand wedging blocks in horse stance (chest faces E)
22. Pull right foot into shoulder width distance from left foot, cross both arms in front of face, twin low forearm blocks Slowly & exhaling in "Ready position"
23. Pivot on right foot 90 degrees counterclockwise, step out toward N, left circular punch (chest faces N while the punch is directed E) in left front stance
24. Remain in stance, twin pushing blocks (as above) Slowly & exhaling
25. Move forward, right front kick, drop kicking leg forward, uneven punch in right front stance
26. Move forward, left front kick, drop kicking leg forward, uneven punch in left front stance
26. Move forward, right front kick, drop kicking leg forward, then immediately hop forward, right backfist strike (left forearm/fist does a guarding block) in crossed stance (left foot behind right foot)
27. Pivot on right foot counterclockwise, step forward toward S, twin pushing blocks (as above) in left front stance
28. Withdraw left foot back to right foot into rear foot stance, low knifehand "X" block
29. Move forward, right middle ridgehand block (left knifehand does a guarding block) in left back stance
30. Move forward, uneven punch in right back stance
31. Move forward, uneven punch in left back stance

Pivot on right foot, turn 90 degrees counterclockwise, pull left foot to meet the right

Return to Ready Position (Bah-Roh)
